Mission Statement
To assist our Vietnamese surgical colleagues in enhancing the pediatric surgical capacity in Vietnam and to increase access to surgical care for all children of VN.

Goals

a) To provide educational and training opportunities for our Vietnamese surgical colleagues

1. by mutual participation in educational exchange activities
2. by assisting with educational and training materials
3. by supporting the academic activities at major pediatric hospitals in Vietnam

b) To enhance patient care activities

1. by acquiring essential material & equipment for our Vietnamese colleagues
2. by collaborating with our Vietnamese colleagues to identify children who have limited access to surgical treatment
3. by providing and implementing mechanisms to bring them to centers where they can receive proper surgical evaluation and treatment
4. by identifying novel means to enhance patient access to surgical care .
